I was raised on a Kansas farm--the fifth of a family of six children. My parents, youngest sister and I moved to Colorado when I was 13. I graduated from Buena Vista High School. My daughters graduated from the same high school.
I have 3 daughters and 8 grandchildren Our eight grandchildren are all adults now.
My furbaby family now consists of a 9 1/2 pound alley cat namesd Dude and a 10 pound Dorky (Yorkie and Dachshund mix) named Sadie. My previous furball family consisted of a 15 pound Ragdoll cat named Beaumont and a 10 pound alley cat named Sammy. They both have gone over the Rainbow Bridge.
After settling in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, I have become Volunteer Coordinator at Good Samaritan Society Hot Springs Village Arkansas. I am a Certified Volunteer Manager.
